Its working principle is to use the liquid level difference for self-suction sludge discharge. Meanwhile, it is equipped with a scum scraping and removal device and an overload protection device. According to user requirements, the control system can be connected to a microcomputer network. Driven by the peripheral driving device, the main beam travels along the pool top at a certain linear speed with the central rotating support as the axis. The lower part of the main beam is connected to brackets, sludge scraping plates, etc. A scum scraping plate is installed near the liquid surface, extending from the central flow stabilizer cylinder to the hinged slag scraping rake. When the main beam rotates, the scum scraping plate skims the scum on the liquid surface from the center of the pool to the periphery and collects it in the area of the hinged slag scraping rake. The collected scum moves with the main machine to the slag skimming hopper along the pool periphery and is scraped into the slag skimming hopper through the hinge movement of the slag scraping rake and then discharged outside the pool.
The peripheral-driven sludge scraper is mainly used for sludge discharge in circular sedimentation tanks, generally in the cases with a smaller pool diameter. Its features include using a cycloidal pin gear reducer and a worm gear box for transmission, which has a large torque transmission capacity, good stability, convenient installation, simple maintenance, torque protection, reliable operation, thorough sludge discharge, and a complete range of specifications.
