Center Driven Scraper Reducer

The Center Driven Scraper Reducer is a deceleration device specially used in the center drive scraper. In simple terms, it has the following main features and functions:
Input shaft: Receives the power provided by the motor.
Gearbox: There are many gears of different sizes meshing with each other, which can convert the high-speed rotation of the motor into slow rotation and increase the torque (i.e. torque).
Output shaft: Transmits the enhanced torque after deceleration to the scraper arm and other parts of the scraper.
Support bearing: Support and fix the reducer to ensure its stable operation.
Function
Deceleration and torque increase: The motor speed is fast, but the scraper requires a slower speed and greater force when working. The reducer can convert the high speed of the motor into a low speed and high torque suitable for the scraper, so that the scraper can effectively scrape and discharge the sludge at the bottom of the pool.
Protect the equipment: If the scraper is stuck by foreign objects, resulting in excessive torque, the reducer will automatically cut off the power transmission or sound an alarm to prevent damage to the equipment.
Application scenarios
It is mainly used in circular sedimentation tanks in urban sewage treatment plants, water plants and industrial wastewater treatment to help remove sludge at the bottom of the tank and scum on the surface of the tank.
