The working principle of the agitator is to drive the transmission device through the motor to rotate the blades in the agitator, so as to achieve the mixing, uniformity and dispersion of the materials. Specifically, the working principle of the agitator includes the following aspects:
1. Power transmission: The agitator is usually driven by a motor, and the rotational motion of the motor is converted into the rotational motion of the blades in the agitator through a transmission device (such as belt drive, chain drive, gear drive, etc.).
2. Blade design: The blade design of the agitator is one of the key factors. The shape and arrangement of the blades will affect the mixing effect. Common blade shapes include anchor blades, paddle blades, spiral blades, etc. The arrangement of the blades can be single-layer, double-layer or multi-layer.
3. Material movement: The blades in the agitator rotate to cause the materials to shear, stretch, squeeze and other movements, thereby achieving the mixing and dispersion of the materials. The rotation direction and speed of the blades will also affect the movement state and mixing effect of the materials.
4. Stirring medium: The agitator usually needs to add a stirring medium (such as liquid, gas or solid particles) to improve the stirring effect. The stirring medium can increase the contact area between the materials and promote mixing and dispersion.
5. Agitator type: According to different process requirements, agitators can be divided into many types, such as mixing barrels, mixing tanks, mixing tanks, mixing cylinders, etc. Different types of agitators are slightly different in structure and working principle, but the basic principle is to achieve the mixing and dispersion of materials through the rotation of the blades.
The side-entry mixer is a mixer that installs the stirring device on the side wall of the equipment barrel. The agitator on the mixer usually adopts an axial flow type, and most of them are propeller-type agitators. Under the condition of consuming the same power, it can obtain a good stirring effect. The power consumption is only 1/3 to 2/3 of the top stirring, and the cost is only 1/4 to 1/3 of the top stirring. The speed can be 200 to 750r/min.
It is widely used in desulfurization, denitrification and stirring of various large storage tanks or tanks. In particular, one or more side-entry mixers are used together in large storage tanks or tanks, and good stirring effects can be obtained under the condition of low energy consumption.
