Can The Lifting Speed Of The Electric Screw Jack Be Adjusted?

Dec 10, 2025

The lifting speed of most Electric Screw Jacks can be adjusted. The specific adjustment capability and method vary depending on the equipment model and configuration, with the core being to change the speed by controlling the output power of the drive system.
There are two common adjustment methods. One is to adjust the motor speed through a frequency converter. Most mid-to-high-end models are equipped with a frequency converter. Operators of the Electric Screw Jack can directly adjust the speed through buttons or knobs on the control panel within the speed range specified by the equipment according to work needs. For example, slow down the speed when handling precision goods to improve stability, and speed up when moving with no load to enhance work efficiency.
The other is adjustment by replacing transmission components. Some simple models are not equipped with a frequency converter. If speed adjustment is needed, professional personnel must replace transmission parts such as gears and sprockets of different specifications. After adjustment in this way, the speed is fixed and cannot be changed at any time, which is more suitable for scenarios where work requirements remain unchanged for a long time.
However, the adjustment of the lifting speed of the Electric Screw Jack has upper and lower limits and cannot exceed the safety range designed for the equipment. Otherwise, it will increase the motor load, which may cause component damage and affect the service life and operation safety of the equipment.
